The quarrying industry in the five departments of the Loire region is an important activity because of the demographic and economic dynamism of this region.

With about 220 sites listed in operation, the Loire region is the second region for aggregate production: about 43 million tons of rock extracted.

On the other hand, the proximity of Brittany (Rennes is 130 km from Angers) with its 276 quarries and its production of 30 million tons of aggregates, represents a major asset and we also count, therefore, on a strong participation of Breton operators.
